our story

In 2018, the English Ministry (EM) of Eden Presbyterian Church (EPC) became the Multicultural Ministry (MCM) to facilitate EPC’s transformation from a predominantly first-generation Korean immigrant church into a multicultural church. After five years, the leaders of both the MCM and EPC came to realize that EPC has a distinctive role to play in God’s kingdom as an ethnic-specifc church. In light of this realization, the MCM requested to become a church plant of EPC in 2023 in order to better reach our neighbors beyond the Korean immigrant church context for Christ. Eden Community Church (ECC) launched on October 15, 2023 with the full support and blessing of EPC. EPC has agreed to permit ECC to utilize its facilities for worship on Sunday evenings, pledged to support ECC financially for the next three years, and will oversee ECC’s maturation into a fully independent church. We look to God to lead and grow us as a church plant as we seek to become a church where the lost and wandering can find a home.

our beliefs

We hold to the historic doctrines of orthodox Christianity as summarized in the Apostle's Creed and expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith as adopted by our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America.

She is married to John (JML), and they have four wonderful children – Lilly, Hadassah, Halleluyah, and one yet to be named, arriving in July 2024.
